Yum.

Head over to Let Us Eat Cake if you’d like to see the mini cupcakes I made this week!

Yummy!

mmmmmmini cupcakes!

Today I purchased 2 mini cupcake pans and some adorable striped baking cups!

I’m hoping to have a mini cupcake baking session this week in anticipation of a visit from my first cupcake customer.  Her wedding is in October and she’ll be coming by to taste test chocolate and vanilla cupcakes (aren’t you jealous?).  Hopefully these will be more than satisfactory!

* Photos not to scale… obviously. 😀

Procrastination for Radiohead Fans

If you are a fan of Radiohead here is something to occupy your time:

Hypertextual Archaeology has great links to some old and random Radiohead goodness… even some poetry/lyrics if you look in the right spots.

Radiohead in Times 100

So Radiohead have been added to the Time top 100 list for 2008. This list reviews the world’s 100 most influential people… that’s according to Time magazine of course. While some of the entries are more than well deserved I certainly can’t help but think that there is a bit of a popularity contest going on here but I am certainly no authority on who should be included.

When I had a look at the categories I expected to find the band in the Artists & Entertainers category but instead Radiohead appear in the Builders & Titans category. I wonder what they think about that… hmm.

Radiohead’s entry is written by Edgar Bronfman, Jr. Mr. Bronfman happens to be the head of one of the major record labels in North America Warner Music Group.

3000 and counting!

Hurray! I reached 3000 visitors today! Thanks for coming out!

Stay tuned for more baked goods and music news! 😀

Thanks for visiting!

Radiohead’s footprint and yours…

Radiohead have posted an addition to their Dead Air Space site that discusses their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint during their 2008 tour as well as suggestions on reducing our carbon footprint as we make our way to the various venues. There is even a calculator to help us determine the most environmentally friendly methods of transportation to the show!

It will be updated throughout the tour which starts next week!! (Insert happy dance here!)
